REQUIRED TRAINING

To obtain approval for new proposals and three-year renewals involving contact with live animals, every UCSC PI, co-respondent, paid technologist, and graduate student must pass a web-based training program showing they understand federal laws and policies. IMPORTANT:

Open the form from within Word, or by passing the form over the Word icon on your desktop. The form is not designed to be filled in TextEdit.

NEVER save your application in TextEdit or send it by modem. So doing destroys all formatting and requires starting over on a new form. 

Save and attach your application in Word (DOC) if possible. If you do not use Word, save and attach in RTF.

If you experience problems downloading application files, or if the downloaded files appear corrupted or formatting is lost upon opening, please contact the CARC Office for more detailed information.
